The act which was perpetrated by yet unknown persons who crave for blood of their fellow kinsmen was committed in the most gruesome and undeserving manner to display their sense of cruelty.

The former chairman of the Delta State Board of Internal Revenue and the Isoko House of Representatives candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the 2019 general elections has described the act as unethical and alien to the Isoko people, a people depicted as the peace-loving people of Niger Delta.

Hon Joel-Onowakpo Thomas further stated that this is a heinous crime against humanity and must be condemned by all right thinking individuals and Isoko people in general.

While condoling with the families of the deceased, the former coordinator of Edo, Delta and Rivers States in the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, has appealed to the state government and security agencies to swing into action of unraveling the identities of persons involved in this act to avoid a further breakdown of law and order.
