The Isoko South Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has commended the former Coordinator of Edo, Delta and Rivers States in the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, Hon Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, over his benevolence towards the people of Isoko ethnic nation in providing palliatives to over four thousand families to cushion the existing effects of the coronavirus pandemic in the society.
In a statement released by the Publicity Secretary of the Isoko South Chapter of APC, Chief Okarethe Godspower, the party commended the magnanimity displayed by Hon Joel-Onowakpo Thomas in coming to the aid of the people whose businesses and means of sustenance have been badly hit by the government enforced lockdown which was pronounced with the aim of stemming the spread of the deadly COVID-19.
The Isoko South APC went further to pour encomiums on Hon Joel-Onowakpo Thomas describing him as a true leader worthy of emulation whose selflessness in service to his people is unrivalled, unequalled and a reflection of patriotism to his fatherland.
The statement read, “APC Isoko South highly appreciate and commend Hon Joel-Onowakpo Thomas for his wonderful works to humanity. Let the Almighty God continue to bless him for us.”
“We received our fair share of the palliatives and they were distributed in an equitable way to the members of the party whom are in dire need of assistance.”

It is noteworthy to state that this appreciative message from the Isoko south local government secretariat of the All Progressives Congress is as a result of the palliatives which consist of 4000 (5kg) bags of rice, 4000 (5kg) bags of beans, gallons of cooking oil, cartons of indomie and tissue papers, provided Hon Joel-Onowakpo Thomas and distributed evenly to the nineteen clans in Isoko nation.
