COVID-19 PALLIATIVES: Aviara Clan Eulogizes Hon Joel-Onowakpo



The Abiogu people of Aviara clan in Isoko south local government area of Delta State has joined other clans, like Oleh, Emede, Ofagbe, and Unions of Isoko nation to wholeheartedly commend her illustrious son, the former Coordinator of Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) in Delta, Edo and Rivers States, Hon. Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, for providing palliatives for over four thousand families in Isoko nation to help cushion the effects of government influenced lockdown, orchestrated by the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking on behalf of all the communities in Aviara clan, the former President General of Araya community, Mr. Justice Okwogba JP stated that Aviara clan received its fair share of the palliatives which were peacefully and equitably distributed among the vulnerable people within the entire clan. He added that Hon. Joel-Onowakpo has proven beyond reasonable doubts that he has the interest of Isoko people at heart. As such, should be commended by all Isoko people.

“Aviara clan is very happy with what Hon. Joel-Onowakpo Thomas has done. This is a very difficult time for everyone; rich or poor. So, if a man provides 4000 5kg bags of rice and 4000 5kg bags of beans alongside other items for his people in this critical time, he deserves all the accolades and commendation that he can get.”

“Aviara clan highly appreciate and commend Hon. Joel-Onowakpo Thomas. God will continue to bless him for us. We received our fair share of the palliatives and they were distributed to the vulnerable people in Aviara clan in an equitable way. Hon. Joel-Onowakpo is a true and worthy son of Aviara kingdom and an illustrious son of Isoko nation.”

“Our people have prayed and will continue to pray for him that God should grant him all his heart desires and promote him beyond human imagination. With that, he can continue to stand in the gap for the good people of Isoko nation,” Okwogba assured.

Okwogba also appreciated all Aviara sons and daughters, especially the President General of Aviara kingdom and Chairmen of all the communities in Aviara clan for their cooperation, contributions and peaceful disposition to ensure even distribution of the palliatives within the clan.
