The Isoko Ethnic Nationality: In Time Perspective.

The latest book on Isoko history titled “Isoko Ethnic Nationality: In Time Perspective”, written by Edafewotu Endurance will be officially presented to the public on 9th November 2019 at the Isoko Development Union National Secretariat Complex, Oleh, under the chairmanship of Chief (Barr) Afahokor Akpovienehe Duncan.

According to a release by the organizing committee, Prof Patrick Muoboghare, the Delta State Commissioner for Higher Education, will be the Special Guest of Honour while the former Chairman Board of Internal Revenue and candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the Isoko federal constituency in the 2019 election, Hon Joel-Onowakpo Thomas will be the chief launcher.

The release signed by the committee chairman, Comrade Daniel Odhomo and the publicity subcommittee chairman, Comrade Emmanuel Ekpebe, indicate that the book will be reviewed by the erudite scholar, Dr Alex Uriri, a lecturer at the University of Lagos while all traditional rulers will grace the occasion as the fathers of the day.

Also expected to be in the attendance at the historical event are prominent sons who are to be Special Guests including Senator James Manager, Hon Leo Okuweh Ogor, Hon Tim Owhofere, Hon Ferguson Onwo and Hon Kenneth Ogba, all legislators representing Isoko ethnic nationality at the federal and state legislative chambers.

Other dignitaries billed to be in attendance are Bashorun Askia Ogieh, Managing Director DESOPADEC, Hon Eta Enahoro, Engr Omoyibo Daniel (DANMOTECH)
and a host of others.

The release stated further that the event which will kick off by 10am on 9th November will have the President of Isoko Development Union (IDU), High Chief Iduh Amadhe as Chief Host with Sir Itiako Malik Ikpokpo and Hon Emmanuel Egbabor, Chairmen of Isoko South and North Local Government Councils respectively as co-host.
