Appeal court verdict: I appreciate you all for your supports – Onowakpo



The candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in the 2019 House of Representatives elections for the seat of Isoko Federal Constituency, Hon Joel-Onowakpo Thomas has extended his warmhearted regards and appreciations to his esteemed supporters over their unwaivering supports during the elections, down to the tribunal and finally the appellate court that saw his opponent, Hon Leo Okuweh Ogor of the People Democratic Party, PDP, emerging victorious.

In a rare clime of sportsmanship, the crusader of the vision of speeding up Isoko nation’s progress with an undying zeal to see his ethnicity at the corridors of power and scheme of national discourse has congratulated Hon Leo Okuweh Ogor for his victory through a press release signed by his media aide, Mr Obah Sylva.

In clear terms, Hon Joel-Onowakpo Thomas said, “the good people of Isoko Ethnic Nationality and my supporters worldwide, I come to you again on this glorious day in which God had mercy on me and gave HIS final verdict at the Court of Appeal. – We Lost our Appeal.”

“Let me use this opportunity to congratulate my brother, Rt. Hon. Leo Ogor for emerging victorious in the appeal.”

“I wish to express my appreciation to God Almighty, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the ever Righteous God, for having mercy on me and giving HIS verdict in this election which was keenly contested.”

“I also want to thank the Christian community in Isoko, the Emede churches, and all the Pastors who took up the burden of praying and fasting for me.”
